The Real, "Let's Get This Started"

To start this event, I am at a loss of what to do! Funny, I had ideas for it when I made the event a few days ago, but now! Hah, I suppose that was the point, to write even when you feel uninspired.

So here we go, and Agenda:
Day 1: A simple paragraph about the time of year
Day 2: A short fractured fairy tale set in Autumn.
Day 3: Share a favourite poem, along with a few inspiring pictures of Fall-ish things
Day 4: Anything! A story, a poem, a character profile, anything!
Day 5: Make it count, share something amazing!

It is that time again, when leaves change colour and hang on just for a while longer, waiting for the winter’s cold wind to blow them away.  It is the time when the air grows cool and a northern wind blows and tries to make your skin tingle with cold, despite the warm jumper and scarf, it always manages to succeed.
It is autumn time, the time for Earl Grey, reading, and long evening walks through the bright leaves.

There!
Tomorrow shall be better! :D

A Bientot!

Let's Get This Thing Going!

Hey!
To my participating bloggy friends, Ready your pens!
To anyone else reading this, do participate, you can start any day! You don't have to post everyday, you just have to post one measly, tiny,  paragraph of something relating to Autumn!
It should be fun!
And there's going to be an awesome drawing!!!
XD
not a drawing, like a picture... and drawing, like prizes!

A Demain!

Grab a Button

Me again! So i made bloggy button things, I am not sure I did it right, but maybe?  Gotta start somewhere!
I realise my last post was very short and not very informative.
I shall reiterate.
It is a five day event for writing stories and/or poetry. Just anything that you find inspiring, but it has to do with this time of year.
You can even do character profiles--i'm fond of those, i know it has little to do with Autumn time. :D
The point is simply to write, to write for the joy of writing.

Autumn Stories

Hullo my fellow bloggies!
For... the first time in FOREVER, I had an idea.
I need at least three participating blogs for it.

The idea is to share short descriptive paragraphs, or stories, or snip-its of stories, about this time of year.

I know everyone is busy with school, but it would be fun--kinda a time for your pen to write freely and for you just to "Let It Go".

It is going to be a five day event, starting on Wednesday and ending on Sunday. There shall be a give-away opened on Friday that ends on Sunday for all sorts of writing things and books.

But you have to participate in the event to enter.
So.
Join me in my craziness, let us all have some awesome writing time!!!
"Write, just write..."

This should be fun, but to do it I am going to need at least three fellow bloggers to join me.

We shall see!

The Janeite Tag

Evie Brandon nominated me for this tag! XD yay! Thank you!
The Rules:
~Thank and link back to the person who tagged you.

~Tell how you were introduced to Jane Austen and share one fun fact about your Janeite life (this fun fact can be anywhere from "I stayed up all night reading Emma," to "I visited Chawton and met Anna Chancellor.").
~Answer the tagger's questions.
~Write seven questions of your own.
~Tag as few as one or as many as seven other Janeites and let them know you've tagged them.

To Start, i was introduced to Jane Austen by my older sister--it was two or three years ago, she wanted to watch Pride and Prejudice 1995, and...i, being, as i am, very demanding of what older sister has--hehe i've gotten better!--wanted to watch it too, so Lainey watched it, because...well that's just how it works. We only had the first half, (much to all of our disappointment) but we watched it and were fascinated.
Since then, it's been downhill. XD or uphill... or underhill, not sure.

Her Questions:
What is your favourite Jane Austen minor couple?
ermmmmm, Mr and Mrs Gardiner, they just make me happy!
Would you rather spend a weekend with Mr Wickham or Mr Willoughby ?
O,O WHAT TYPE OF QUESTION IS THIS?
HOW
THE
WHATSIT

AM I SUPPOSED TO ANSWER THIS?
One has a redcoat, the other can read poetry.
*Grabs blender*
MUAHAHAHAHAHA
You've been invited to a ball, what is your first reaction?
As usual, freakout, excitedly, wonder "what am i gonna wear?!?" Panic, turn on the kettle, P&P, plug in the sewing machine, raid the fabric stash, put on my glasses and read patterns...
Or that is what we do...
If you could choose a Jane Austen home to live in what would you choose? Netherfield? Pemberly?
Netherfield i think. Pemberley's just toooo big!
Darcy or Bingley?
Dingley, thank you very much. He's nicer than Mr Darcy, but not so obliging as Bingley.
*puts blender away*
Brandon or Ferras?
*Nevermind...Grabs blender again* I like them both. I cannot choose.
Knightley or Captain Wentworth?
Knightley, he's just--right!
Which character are you most like?
OH OH OH I GOT THIS ONE.
The naivety of Catherine Morland
The Kindness of Jane Bennet
And Romantics and music talent, and the downright--make everyone miserable when i'm miserable-- of Marianne.
(Credit to Catie D.)

Questions for my nominees:
If you could be set in the place of any JA character in any of her stories, who would it be, and why?
Who is your least favourite JA hero?
Who is your favourite Hero?
Your favourite heroine?
Dancing or no dancing?
Do you play the pianoforte?
Your favourite JA movie adaptation?

I nominate
Catherine Darwen
Emery Foster
Rebekah R.

Au revoir!
